This is the parking lot of a restaurant by the sea.
The other side of the fence is not America, it's the Akasikaikyou.

Located between Route 2 and the sea, I can see the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge from the window. It's a wonderful view.

国道２号線と海に挟まれて、窓からは明石大橋が見えます。素晴らしい眺めです。

And Awaji Island .
It's probably a national curry restaurant chain.

Given the location, why a curry restaurant rather than a high-end French or Italian restaurant?

These are quince flowers that white-eyes occasionally visit.

時折メジロがやって来る木瓜の花です。

The flowers have turned pink and are almost in full bloom.
It's time for blossom viewing.
